New Hagstroms

We just got in a Hagstrom Tremar Super Swede with 3-P90 pick-ups. and a Viking in a white finish.
The Tremar super swede is equipped with 3 of Hagstroms "spiced" P-90's which are thicker than a typical P-90 pick-up. Because there are 3 of them, instead of a 3-way switch, Hagstrom used their 6-way rotary switch which is on some of their basses. This allows for a very wide array of tonal variations, especially with each pick-up having it's own tone control. The guitar is also equipped with Hagstroms Tremar tremolo system, which is similar to a Bigsby tremolo in most ways, but I find it slightly smoother and better at keeping it in tune. As with all Hagstrom guitar's this guitar is also built with their proprietary, H-Expander truss rod, Resonator wood fingerboard, and 18-1 gear ratio Hagstrom machine heads. Which greatly increase the tuning stability, play-ability, and general comfort of the guitar.
The Viking is a different beast all together. In a stunning white finish, with Hagstrom's trapeze tail piece, and the other fine appointments that make a Hagstrom a Hagstrom, this guitar is a looker. And this beauty sounds and plays as good as it looks. With 2 Hagstrom HJ-50 Humbuckers, and a semi-hollow body, the guitar sounds incredible, and covers many genres with it's versatility. You can easily go from crunchy, to clean to thick, and sound great the whole way. The proprietary Hardware (H-Expander, Resonator wood, and 18-1 Hagstrom machine heads) top the whole thing off by making it one of the most comfortable guitars to play. If your at all in the market for a semi-hollow electric, you would be very remiss if you did not give this brilliant instrument a try.
