Inventory Update

Here are a few of the new products that we have in stock. We have continued to acquire new lines of instruments, with Music Man, Sterling, and S.U.B. instruments now in stock and available for special order. We also picked up Line 6, and Cort, as we continue to expand into lines like PRS, Sigma, Breedlove, Schecter, and many others. The list below contains a few of the new products we have in stock, but for more information on each of these lines, please visit their Websites, or stop by our store to sit and try them out yourself.

Washburn Rover Exotic
The Washburn Rover has long been our best selling travel guitar. Due to it's compact size, surprisingly good tone, and excellent value, it has been a consistently good choice for those in need of a portable instrument. Washburn has now released a new series of exotic wood models that make these even more eye catching and unique. The series has 4 variations. These are the 4 models with photos below each.

   Spalted Maple
Washburn RO10SS
Washburn RO10KK
   Zebra Wood
Washburn RO10ZZ
   Cedar and Rosewood
Washburn RO10RWC

Each Rover comes with a hardshell case designed to fit into overhead compartments on planes, a strap, and picks. The guitars have a full 24" scale neck making it play and respond like a regular acoustic. The volume and depth of tone is somewhat lacking due to the small size of the body, but it still sounds very pleasant.

Kala Ukuleles
We have some new Kala ukuleles in stock including an arched top jazz style model, and a thinline cut-away model with spalted maple back and sides. The whole Kala ukulele line is fantastic, with high quality materials, attractive aesthetics, and comfortable price points. These new models are no exception. The Thinline model's solid spruce top really brings out the volume of the instrument, despite it's small dimentions. The volume adds a lot to the depth and clarity of the instrument, and makes it better for jamming without being amplified. The Arched top Jazz style tenor ukulele is something completely unique. designed to look like a traditional hollowbody electric it has F-holes, a trapeze tail piece, a floating pick-guard, and a beautiful sunburst finish. The arched top design makes it a little quieter than most tenor ukes would be, but this does give it a little mellower tone, which is nice if you want something that's a little less cheerful sounding, while still being a ukulele.
There are of course many other options in stock including some great acoustic electric models, and a variety of other sizes and wood combinations. Check out Kala's full line at

Cort Electrics
We finally received our first order of Cort electric guitars, with models ranging from their CR50 (which is a basic les paul style guitar), up to the Matt Bellamy (from Muse) signature guitar. The X-1 and CR50 are both great entry level models, ideal as a first guitar for someone wanting to get into something functional without breaking the bank. The M200, G220, and Zenox Z42 models are all in a comfortable mid-level price range. With active humbucker pick-ups in the Zenox, EMG HZ humbucker and single coils in the G220, and great ergonomics in the M200, they all offer great value for under $500.00. We also have a couple of Cort's Action series bass guitars, with active electronics, and great looks. For more information on the Cort line-up, visit

Line 6 AMPLIFi 75
We are now dealers of Line 6 amplifiers, effects, and other electronics. We have in stock a large selection of the Spider IV modeling amplifiers, as well as their new AMPLIFi line.
The AMPLIFi is unlike any other electric guitar amp on the market, with its high fidelity 5-speaker system offering incredible quality streaming audio through your Bluetooth or Aux inputs. However the Bluetooth capability on the amp is not only limited to streaming your music, but also allows you to wirelessly control the tone and effects of your guitar. This may sound like a bit of a gimmick at first. After all, who is so lazy that they can't walk over to their amp? But the truth is that this opens up a lot more possibilities than any built in controls would allow. You can adjust all of the usual amp settings (volume, gain, EQ) from the amp or from your apple or android device. But from the device you can adjust multiple parameters of hundreds of effects. On most modeling amps, including the Spider IV, your ability to control each effect is extremely limited, with a level and sometimes tempo control as the only parameters. With each of the effects on the app however, you can adjust anywhere from 1-10 different aspects of the effect.
A big part of its functionality is it's ability to "listen" to songs out of your device's library and figure out how to set your amp to sound the same as that song. There is also a massive list of presets uploaded by users for other songs that you can browse through and add to. This makes finding a guitar sound for the cover tunes you are learning a breeze, and much less expensive than investing in all the different amps and effects necessary to get the right tone through conventional means.
The AMPLIFi is of course capable of connecting to your computer through USB for use as a recording interface for your guitar. This eliminates the need to mic your amp (and all the costs and hassles associated with that) when in the recording studio. It also makes it convenient for just recording a few riffs you want to remember, or creating a custom backing track to jam along or practice with.

SUB Ray 4 Bass
We are now open to Ernie Ball's Music Man, Sterling, and S.U.B. guitar and bass lines. We don't have a lot in stock yet, but we do have a pair of the Ray 4 4-string bass from the S.U.B. line of instruments. The Ray 4 offers classic looks, good hardware, a comfortable feel, and great sound, in a simple and inexpensive package. The single Active humbucker placed in the bridge position keeps the tone bright, with a tight, punchy, and controlled attack. The satin transparent red and blue finishes that we have the bass in currently both look great. The natural texture of the body wood shows through, while the satin finish resists the fingerprints and minor scratch wear that gloss finished instruments will reveal easily. Washburn Woodline Series Acoustics
The woodline series is Washburn's newest line, with the same aesthetics and sound as their incredibly popular Comfort series, but without the comfort cut-aways, and in a lower price range. The line includes some smaller Orchestra body sized models as well as the larger dreadnoughts. They have spruce, cedar, and mahogany topped models with the spruce and cedar options having either Mahogany or rosewood for the back and sides. They are available with built in Fishman electronics for those looking to gig or use effects, or as straight acoustic models for those who don't need amplification.
The guitars are certainly stunning and well equipped, but the most impressive thing about them is their sound. The huge sounding dreadnought models, with more volume and richer tone than most guitars that are double the price, are a great choice for a wide range of styles. The richness of the harmonic content is not lost amid the powerful bass tones, so even fingerstyle players will enjoy the tone while strummers will love the power and clarity. The smaller Orchestra models, especially the Mahogany topped guitars are less powerful, but keep the rich midrange, and add in a more shimmery high end that is hard to get out of larger bodied guitars. They are ideal for the fingerstylist, and the small body of the guitar makes it very comfortable for smaller individuals to sit with. Even many kids who would usually need a 3/4 sized guitar will find it easy to play.
